STEAM, encompassing Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math, is gaining prominence nationwide. At Wortham, we aspire for our students to demonstrate their skills as a scientist, technologist, engineer, artist, and mathematician. Infusing arts into the equation fosters creativity and design within projects.
This event will not be a competition, but a showcase of projects created by Wortham students. Students will not be judged on their submissions, but will be given feedback about their project from Wortham staff, STEAM professionals, and members of the community.
All participants will receive recognition for their outstanding work. Our aim is to immerse students in real-world learning, delving into a diverse range of STEAM topics. Explore "Project Ideas" and "Helpful Links and Vocabulary" for inspiration. Let's ensure our students enjoy, explore, and engage with STEAM authentically.
