Education/Experience: Hello Wortham Family! I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education. I went on to pursue my Master's in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University graduating in 2003. I recently completed an additional Master's degree in School Counseling from Amberton University. This year marks my 13th year in Education!
My why: To know & cherish our students as they are, while equipping them with the knowledge & skills to become the very best version of themselves for the future.
Family/Fun: My husband and I just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary and we have four children- 3 are in Frisco ISD schools & our oldest is a Sophomore at Samford University. After school and on the weekends I love to fill my time enjoying family and friends, adventuring outdoors, or cozied up with a hot cup of coffee and a great book.

Education/Experience: I am so excited to be a part of the Wortham Family! I graduated from Texas Tech University in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. I spent 20 years in foodservice marketing before deciding to make a difference in kids' lives by becoming a school teacher. I earned my teaching certificate in 2017 and have been teaching 3rd grade at Scott Elementary the past five years. Most recently, I completed my Master's in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. I can't wait to begin my counseling journey at Wortham Intermediate!
My why: To support every students' personal discovery of unlocking their social, emotional, and academic potential.
Family/Fun: I have an amazing wife of 21 years and two wonderful children. My son and daughter were a part of Frisco ISD from K-12 and are now both in college. When I am not counseling, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, grilling, and playing live music with my son and friend.
