Hello there! My name is Brittany Johnson and I am so excited to be teaching third grade this school year. More importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It is going to be a fun year full of learning, adventures, and new experiences. I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us. I am eager to learn about you, but first I would like to share a few things about myself.
I was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Jackson State University and my Master's Degree from Belhaven University. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Texas to continue my career as an educator.
This school year will be my 17th year in education. I have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, first grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade thus far. This will be my third year teaching third grade and I absolutely cannot wait!! Teaching children has made my heart smile.
In my free time, I LOVE to travel (the beach is my happy place), watch football, read books, visit museums, attend concerts, spend time with family and friends, and try different cuisines. I have a fur baby named Ella. She is a mini Australian shepherd that keeps me on my toes.
I am elated to be your teacher and for YOU to be a part of our AMAZING class! This is going to be an AWESOME school year!
