Mrs. Rains

Hello Vaughn families! 

My name is Annika Rains and I am so excited to be teaching second grade at Vaughn this year! This will be my 12th year teaching, and my 8th year teaching at Vaughn.

I grew up in Coppell, Texas. Then, I attended The University of Oklahoma and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. Boomer Sooner! I spent 4 years teaching first grade in Norman, Oklahoma. While in Oklahoma I met my husband, and we just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. We have an almost 5 year old boy, Parker, and an 2.5 year old, Preston! In my free time I love to spend time with my family and our fur baby, Penny! I also enjoy traveling and attending OU football games.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and getting to know you and your families. I know we will have a wonderful year together!
