Hello, my name is Mrs. Martinez! I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Vaughn this year!
I grew up in Dallas, TX. Then, I attended Baylor University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and discovered my passion for working with young learners. I continued my education at Baylor, earning a master's degree in educational psychology, which deepened my understanding of how children learn and develop. I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students and help them grow both academically and personally. Outside of the classroom, I love going on walks, water coloring, and spending time with friends and family! I like to try new restaurants and explore more of Frisco.
I am so excited to get to know you and your family this year! It is going to be such a wonderful year in 2nd grade!
