Welcome to first grade!

My name is Amanda Carney. This year will be my third year in FISD teaching first grade, but my first year here at Vaughn! I am so excited to join the Vaughn family, and I can't wait to work with your first grader and your family.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas (Woo Pig!) with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I grew up going to Frisco schools and was so excited to come back and work for Frisco ISD! In my free time I love to bake, spend time with family and friends, and play with my cat Hercules.

I can't wait to spend this year learning and growing with your kiddo. First grade is such an important time for your little ones, and I look forward to working alongside you and your child. We are going to have so much fun this year!
