Library Leaders

Spears' Library Leaders is made up of 4th and 5th grade students who have demonstrated a love of the library and who exemplify positive behavior both in and out of the classroom. It involves a one day per week commitment and tasks include shelving, straightening, assisting students, deliveries and special projects.

 The program is usually introduced to 4th and 5th grade students in September and the program runs from October through May.

Students must apply to be a part of the program and gain parent permission. Feedback from teachers will be considered for acceptance into the program.
