Hello Sonntag Families!

My name is Chelsie Ebey Ritchey. I was born and raised in Louisiana. I moved to Frisco, Texas going on 7 years ago with my husband, Coach Robert Ritchey, who coaches at Sherman High School 

Coach Ritchey and I have a sweet, baby boy named Cooper. He recently turned 2 in July and we cannot get over how fast the first year of parenthood went. He has so much personality and is the happiest kiddo. We also have a dog named Hazel. She is the most energetic and entertaining dog ever. When I am not at school I love enjoying time with my family, working out, and being outdoors. 

I graduated from Louisiana Tech University (GO DAWGS!) where I received my bachelors degree in Family and Child Studies concentrating in Child Development. This is my 7th year in Frisco ISD and fifth year at Sonntag Elementary. I am so honored and excited to be teaching your special kiddos this school year!

I have such a huge passion for working with children. I strongly believe it is important for children to be in an environment that is consistent, secure, and nurturing. Learning is optimized when a child is secure and comfortable.
