Mrs. Doudt

Hello and Welcome to Pre-K!

My name is Emily Doudt (pronounced Dowd) and I am so excited to be a part of the Sonntag Pre-K team!  My husband Rodney and I have been married for 30 years.  We have two sons who attended Sonntag and graduated from Heritage High School.  We have one pet, a cat named Pepper. 

Our oldest son Drew graduated from Texas Tech University and is now teaching Advanced Biology and coaching football and baseball at Lebanon Trail High School.  Our youngest son Dylan attends Hendrix College in Arkansas where he plays football and is studying business.

I received my Bachelors of Science degree from the University of North Texas.  This will be my eighth year with Frisco ISD and my sixth year working in Pre-K. 

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment in which our youngest students can learn, grow and thrive.  It is so exciting to see the academic and social growth students can make over the course of the school year.   I have so many happy memories as a parent of Sonntag students, and I am excited to be a part of making happy memories for our new Sonntag families!   It is going to be a fantastic year!
