Meet Mrs. Quinlan!

Hi!  My name is Jessica Quinlan and I am thrilled to be starting my 9th year at Scott Elementary!  This is my 22nd year total teaching elementary music and it truly is my joy and passion. 

I grew up in Plano and went to THE Ohio State University (Go Buckeyes!), where I received my Bachelors in Music Education with my principal instrument being the flute.  After graduating I taught in Phoenix, Arizona, for two years where I also met my husband, Patrick.  We moved back to the north Dallas area and both started teaching in Plano.  We have two wonderful boys and love being a part of the Scott community.

I am so excited for another year of making music with the spectacular Scott students!  While in music at Scott, students will explore a variety of instruments, songs, activities and musical genres.  We are movers and shakers (and usually pretty noisy)!

I love the color yellow, spending time outdoors, cooking/baking, Starbucks, buying picture books for my classroom & watching Friends reruns.
