The counseling office will send out emails to student emails after first semester grades are averaged each year for all eligible students.
In order to apply, students must have a 4.0 grade average on the 6.0 grade scale by the end of the second semester of their 10th or 11th -grade year.
There is a rigorous application process initiated by students who qualify followed by a review of all applications by the RHS Faculty Council.
Inductions for new members will be late in spring each year.
Freshman and sophomore students hoping to apply for NHS do not need to contact us or do anything before they are contacted by the school of their eligibility in the spring of their sophomore year.
NHS does not track or need to know about your service hours until you become a member.
If you have questions, please contact the NHS advisors at RHSNHS@friscoisd.org
