About Mrs. Rainey

Hello! 

My name is Leanne Rainey. I am excited to be entering my 10th year as the Art Teacher at Vandeventer Middle School. I have a passion for art as well as education, and I believe we can learn so much through the combination of both! My personal mission is to foster a love of learning through art and art history. 

I earned my bachelor's degree from the College of Visual Arts at the University of North Texas in December of 2011. I've been married to my husband, Scott, for over 25 years and we have two wonderful boys together. In addition to relaxing with my family, I enjoy all things related to art, spending time outdoors (running & hiking), and volunteering within the community. 

I can't wait to meet this year's group of Viking artists and I look forward to another wonderful year in the VMS art room!
