Purefoy Library Leaders is made up of 4th and 5th grade students who have demonstrated a love of the library and who exemplify positive behavior both in and out of the classroom. It involves a one day per week commitment and tasks include shelving, straightening, assisting students, deliveries and special projects. The program is introduced to 4th and 5th grade students during Back to School Library Orientation and the program runs most of the school year.Â
Student must apply to be a part of the program and gain parent permission. Students who apply commit for the entire year. Feedback from Homeroom teachers will be considered for acceptance into the program.
