Parents: In our library, we courage "free choice" in reading. Sometimes that means that students get home with a book that is too hard or that they are not enjoying as much as they hoped. I can work with students to exchange their book. We want our students to enjoy what they are reading!
If you have expectations for what your student reads, please discuss this with them so they can keep it in mind as they browse in the library. Please reach out if you would like me to reinforce your expectations, as well. I want to support your students and you, too!
Thank you for helping us grow our Purefoy Readers. It is my sincere hope that they will be lifelong, prolific readers!
