National Junior Honor Society is the leader among organizations and societies that promote appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and service. Every Pioneer Heritage Middle School student will have the opportunity to become a member of this organization.

To be considered for membership in the Pioneer Heritage Middle School chapter of National Junior Honor Society, students MUST reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and service.

Scholarship: To be eligible, a student must have and maintain an academic average of 94% or higher.

Character: A student of character upholds principles of morality and ethics, is cooperative and responsible, demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability, shows courtesy, respect, and concern for others, and generally maintains a positive outlook on life.

Citizenship: A student that demonstrates citizenship understands the importance of civic involvement, has a high regard for democracy and justice, and demonstrates mature participation & responsibility through involvement in activities such as community organizations.
