Tests will be on Fridays.

Spelling grades will consist of 2 tests averaged for 1 grade.  Therefore, students will get 4 spelling grades out of 8 tests.  Spelling tests are not made up. If missed, the grade will come from 1 test rather than an average of 2. 

Cursive is a TEK (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills)  We will give cursive (using the spelling list words) and expect it to be completed by Friday. It is not a grade.

STEMscopes is a great resource for students to practice weekly science skills.  Your child's teacher will be assigning activities for students to complete. Please take note STEMscopes will not be available for students until mid September. Teacher's will inform you when it is ready to access.
