Hello! My name is Kennedy Dukes, and I am thrilled to be a part of the 4th grade team at Minett this year! This will be my 6th year of teaching, and my second year at Minett. Before Minett, I taught in Houston for 4 years.

I have a deep love for education and this job brings me so much joy! I enjoy deeply knowing my students so that I can ensure that I am teaching and loving them well. I strive to provide a safe place for all students to learn, fail, and grow. Building relationships with students and their families is extremely important to me!

When I am not in the classroom, you can find me reading a book, spending time with my family, drinking coffee, learning Spanish on Duolingo, watering my house plants, or cheering on OU football. I also love to travel and explore new places and cultures. I cannot wait to partner with you and your student this year as we journey through 4th grade as a team!
