Meet Mrs. Stratton

Hi McSpedden Family! 

My name is Ashley Stratton. I am your McSpedden Librarian! You will see a community space full of learning opportunities this year. I am excited for us to explore it together! 

This will be my 11th year as an educator, fourth as a librarian, and second with Frisco ISD. I can't wait to get to know new students and staff, and welcome back familiar faces! I am passionate about instilling a love of reading  - but I also love technology, collaboration, and providing instructional support and resources. 

I've been married for 11 years to my college sweetheart. I have a daughter who will be joining me at McSpedden this year for Kindergarten, and a forever in motion two year old who is determined to keep up with his big sister! I love reading, crafting, puzzles, crochet, and any endeavor requiring creativity and problem solving.
