Meet Mrs. Stratton

Hi McSpedden Elementary, 

My name is Ashley Stratton. I am your McSpedden Librarian! You will see a community space full of learning opportunities this year. I am excited for us to explore it together! 

This will be my 10th year as an educator, third as a librarian, and first with Frisco ISD. I can't wait to get to know our students, staff, and school community. I am passionate about instilling a love of reading  - but I also love technology, collaboration, and providing instructional support and resources. 

I've been married for 10 years to my college sweetheart. I have a daughter who is in Pre-K this year and a busy one year old who spends all his time trying to keep up with big sister! I love reading, crafting, puzzles, crochet, and any endeavor requiring creativity and problem solving.
