Welcome to Third Grade! My name is Randi Barton and I am thrilled to begin this year with you! I was born in Minnesota, but raised in Hurst, Tx. I am a graduate of the University of North Texas - Go Eagles! This will be my 21st year teaching. I have had the pleasure of working with both 3rd and 5th graders as well as K-6 classrooms as an instructional coach. At home, I relax with my husband, Trey, and our sweet kitty, Mea. I love exploring science, painting, traveling and baking. I spend a lot of my free time in our garden growing food and flowers. A few of my favorite things are taking painting classes to unwind, Chick-fil-a, snowcones, and popcorn movie nights. I am passionate about children, so I can't wait to learn all about my students' interests. I look forward to this year's third grade adventure, and building our learning family - Mrs. Barton's Buzzy Bees!
