Welcome to third grade! My name is Melissa Richardson, and I am honored to continue teaching third-grade at Isbell this year!

I graduated from the University of North Texas in May 2024 with my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies! This will be my 2nd year teaching but my THIRD year at Isbell! I had the privilege of student teaching at Isbell on the first-grade team while in college, so I already know many of the students coming into 3rd grade this year!

Outside of the classroom, I just celebrated my second marriage anniversary with my amazing husband Joel! We have a dog named Juice together and love to play fetch with him! Joel and I love to volunteer at our church and play as many board or card games as we can! I also enjoy painting and reading with a cup of coffee!

I am passionate about building relationships with my students and to inspire them to foster a lifelong love of learning! I want every student to feel welcomed and comfortable in the classroom! I look forward to partnering with you all to ensure each student reaches their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
