MACKINVIA
Databases for student research are found at MackinVia. Both staff and students should use their school log-in information and choose "Heritage" to access. Then, click on “Databases”. All Heritage High School databases can be accessed through MackinVia and do not require a username or password.
USING IMAGES
When using images for school projects, presentations, or website posts, it is important to respect copyright laws. Always use copyright-free or Creative Commons-licensed images from trusted sources like Unsplash, Pixabay, or Wikimedia Commons, or create your own original visuals. Remember to properly cite and attribute every image you use to give credit to the original creator.

Add the Scrible EDU app from the Web Store (website is www.scrible.com)
Add the Scrible Tool Bar Extension from the Web Store
Choose “Create Account”
Sign-up through Google (use your school Google log-in and password)
KAMI
Kami can be used to write, draw, annotate, comment, etc. on any document, including scanned PDFs From the Chrome Web Store, search for "Kami" and add the Chrome extension. Use Google (school credentials) to sign-up for your account. (For teachers, there is also a Canvas integration that the program will walk you through once you sign-up!)
