Membership and Induction

Membership in National Junior Honor Society is by qualification and invitation only.


7th and 8th grade students who earn a semester average of 94% or higher across all four core classes after the Fall Semester are invited to become members of NJHS.


New Member Application Process and Timeline:


  1. Students who qualify to apply for membership will receive an Invitation Letter at school and an email.

  2. FULL APPLICATIONS to join are due no later than 4:05pm on TBD via the NJHS Canvas course.

    3. Teacher Letter of Recommendation

  3. Students will be selected after applications are evaluated by the Selection Committee.

  4. Students will be notified of selection status via Canvas.
