Hi! My name is Sarah Vacek. This will be my eighth year at Fisher, and 15th year in education.

I am originally from Wisconsin, but I have lived in Texas for half my life. I taught in San Antonio and Boerne, TX before moving to Frisco. I spent time at home when my children were young. It has been such a blessing to teach at the amazing school where my children attended.

I have been married to my husband, Chris for 24 years. We love spending time with our children Lauren, Bradley and Jackson. Lauren will be a junior at Concordia University, St. Paul where she plays soccer and studies physical therapy. Bradley will be a senior at Wakeland where he runs cross-country and track. He is also working on his pilot’s license. Jackson will be a sophomore at Wakeland where he plays baseball.

I am looking forward to another wonderful year in first grade. I can’t wait to meet and welcome all of my new students!

Fun Facts:

-This summer we adopted a puppy named Kona, and we are all smitten with her.

She is my very first pet!

Hello Fisher Families! I’m excited to start my 11th year of teaching and my 3rd year in 1st Grade at Fisher Elementary! I previously taught 4th Grade for 8 years in Boerne, Spring and Frisco ISD before taking time off to stay home with my kids.. I am originally from San Antonio, but have called Frisco home for the past 22 years now.

I have two amazing sons that are both graduates of Frisco ISD (Fisher/Carroll, Cobb & Wakelend). My oldest, Will, is working while pursuing his ASE certification, and my youngest, Reid, will be a junior at Texas Tech where he is studying business.

As a family we enjoy traveling to visit family in San Antonio for the holidays, taking our traditional beach trip each summer, and spoiling our latest addition to the family, our 1 year old sweet black lab, Mattie.

Fun Facts:

-Fall is my favorite season, I love college football.

-Huge fan of all Texas Tech sports, SA Spurs & the Astros.

-I love chocolate chip cookies, Diet Coke, chips & queso, sweet tea, and Mi Cocina.

-I enjoy seeing movies and listening to all types of music.

Hello Fisher Families! My name is Margaret Dismukes and I’m very excited to start my third year here at Fisher! This will be my 12th year working in Frisco ISD, 17th year in education, and my first year teaching 1st grade! I am very excited to join the 1st grade team and looking forward to seeing all of you again soon for another wonderful year at Fisher!

I graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education and have a second degree in Public Relations from Weber State College.

My daughter Shannon is a Resource teacher here at Fisher. I also have a great son-in-law and two very sweet grandchildren - Parker (who will be in 1st Grade) and Emery who is 4! My dog’s name is Charlie and he’s a miniature schnauzer.

Fun Facts:

-I LOVE coffee from Starbucks! I’m seriously addicted and go there everyday.

-I love watching reality t.v. shows…I know…ha.

-The beach is my favorite place to vacation and we love visiting Disney World too!

Hello Fisher Families! I am excited to begin my second year as a 1st grade teacher here at Fisher! This will be our families 3rd year at Fisher and my 9th year in education. I took some time to stay home with my kids, who are now going into 3rd and 1st, when they were younger.

I graduated from Texas Tech with my bachelors degree and then earned my masters in counseling from Kean University while our family was stationed in New Jersey.

I have been married to my husband Charlie for 12 years and we have two amazing children, CJ and Emma. I love to watch the kids play sports, go on adventures and color when I can.

FUN FACTS

We have a German Shepherd named Izzy and 3 cats named Bruce Wayne, Bonnie & Clyde
I love penguins!
There is no such thing as too much coffee!
