- I student-taught at Heritage 6 six years ago and have been here since.
- When I was growing up I lived in California, Nevada, Kansas, Illinois, Arkansas, and Texas, and I probably went to twenty different schools overall.
- I have five younger siblings. There is a 23-year age gap between me and the youngest.
- I play piano and saxophone, mostly jazz & classical. Please don't call jazz "elevator music."
- I went to school in Denton (UNT). Good times. I had a sweet 1992 Acura that I bought for $400. It was a great ride until I wrecked it. Still miss that car.
- I read a lot. I understand when people say they hate reading, because there are a lot of books I hate too. But there are even more books that I love.
- My wife teaches French at Independence. We have two cats with silly names (I didn't name them).
