Medications

Medications must be provided by a parent or guardian. The school nurse's office does not provide any medications. 

Medication Guidelines

• Medications must be brought to the school by a parent or guardian, NOT SENT IN A STUDENT'S BACKPACK

• All prescription medications must be in the original container with the prescription label attached 

• All NON-PRESCRIPTION medications must be in the original bottle and a Doctor's signature must be on the medication request form 

• District approved over-the-counter medications include ADVIL, TYLENOL, TUMS, BENADRYL (and equivalents) 10 doses can be given without a Doctor's signature

• For all medications, the medication request form must be complete (see below)
