WHO WE ARE
The Phoenix Post is a modern, student-run newspaper serving the Friends Central School campus and its wider community of families, alumni, and stakeholders. Our goal is to provide news and stories that matter to today’s students—presented in ways that are engaging, relevant, and easy to digest.
We believe students deserve journalism that reflects their lives, their questions, and their voices. From campus events to national headlines, we aim to inform, connect, and inspire our readers.
The Phoenix Post is proudly student-run, with each member contributing their unique voice and perspective.

The Phoenix Post has been operating for two school years under its current name. It was founded as a service organization dedicated to informing and uplifting the Friends Central School community.
As part of our growth, members of our service team recently visited the Philadelphia Inquirer, where we received positive feedback and professional guidance on how to strengthen our reporting and storytelling.
The Phoenix Post will officially launch as a digital publication in January 2026, expanding our reach and making our content more accessible to the community.
The Phoenix Post thrives on community involvement. We welcome:
Story ideas and news tips
Reader feedback and responses
Letters to the editor
Collaboration with students, faculty, and staff
Our goal is to create a publication that feels interactive, inclusive, and reflective of campus life.
