Title: Teaching kit of Track and Field events for school PE Lesson
Abstract:
Purposes: Track and field is a popular sport that helps to develop various aspects of physical fitness such as speed, strength, and endurance. However, in recent years, the number of athletes participating in track and field competitions has decreased significantly. This trend is also reflected in the declining performance of primary and secondary school students in Hong Kong. Some teachers attribute this to the belief that athletics is technically complicated and less interesting than ball games, leading to a lack of enthusiasm for teaching athletics in physical education classes. To address this issue, the Athletics Teaching Kit for PE Lesson has been designed to help teachers better understand and teach track and field skills. The kit includes teaching steps, key points, precautions, and video demonstrations for various track and field events. Additionally, it provides related application activities to assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons for beginners. Conclusion: The Athletics Teaching Kit for PE Lesson is to increase the participation of local primary and secondary school students in athletics and improve their overall athletic performance. By using these teaching resources, students can better grasp track and field skills, improve their athletic game performance, and achieve greater success in athletics. The teaching kit is a simple, convenient, and effective way to enhance local students’ participation in athletics and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Title: Tchoukball Guidelines
Abstract:
Tchoukball has been promoted for several years in Hong Kong but it is still unfamiliar to people or students. As a Tchoukball enthusiast, experienced player, and prospective Physical Education teacher, contributing more to its promotion is one of my duties, as it is new, innovative, and educational for students.
Body contacts, shot blocks, pass blocks, etc. that are common or considered action-packed moves in other relatively aggressive sports are not allowed in Tchoukball. Without the above, it is still fast-paced and intense. It emphasizes more on teamwork and healthy, courteous competition. Therefore, it is good to integrate it into the school scenario.
This capstone project condensed current knowledge and personal experience, not from a teaching perspective, but from a promotional perspective, hoping that readers can know how to 'play' Tchoukball in a short time, and even roughly know what happened on the field. In conclusion, whether it is for teachers, coaches, or students, hoping this can become one of the most introductory resources for Tchoukball in Hong Kong.

Title: Enhancing Parent-Child Relationship through Home Exercise Teaching Kit for Children with ASD
Abstract:
Purpose: This project aims to design a home exercise kit for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, with the goal of enhancing their physical fitness, parent-child relationships, social communication, and interaction. Methodology: The exercise kit consists of three types of videos: individual, parent-child cooperation, and stretching, which are presented as daily workout videos and posted on Padlet. The kit is designed as a game with four levels, and participants must clear each level within one week. They can flexibly choose five days as exercise days and two days as rest days. Participants must follow the video to finish and record one of the exercises, then post the video on Padlet. They receive a number after finishing each video and collect a five-digit password to unlock the next level. Participants can give likes and comments to others' videos on Padlet. When they clear all levels, they receive the password to unlock a video database. Participants can also create their own Padlet and customize their personal exercise plan. Results: Six families were invited to try out the exercise kit, and they completed pre- and post-questionnaires. The results showed that ASD students and parents had insufficient exercise time per week. However, after participating in the project, they reported positive effects, such as increased motivation to exercise and enhanced communication skills. Conclusion: In conclusion, exercise therapy not only benefits ASD families' physical fitness but also their family relationships. This project provides an additional option for exercise therapy that is flexible in terms of workout venue and time.

Title: STEMxPE cross-curricular activities pack for primary school students
Abstract:
Purposes: This project provides ready-to-use activities for current primary school teachers to integrate STEM with PE with POE strategy (predict, observe, explain) as foundation. Aiming to nurture students’ creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Through these activities, students are expected to use PE activities as hands-on activities to learn STEM knowledge. Methodology: 1 activity trial with a class of 22 P.6 students and 2 rounds of interviews with a total of 5 PE teachers from 2 different primary schools were made. 3 versions of the teaching package were made. Version 1 before the activity trial and 1st round of interview. Version 2 in between the activity trial, the 1st round of interview and the 2nd round of interview. Version 3 after the 2nd round of interview. The final version was delivered in 2 versions: an online PDF and a booklet consisting of 6 activities. Results: In general, teachers think that the idea of the teaching package is new and innovative. They are keen to use the package and prefer to use it as extra-curricular activities (ECA). Most students like the activity they played and wish to play this kind of activities again. However, they do not have a particular preference to play the activities in GE lessons, PE lessons, or as ECA. Conclusion: Through this teaching package, students can learn STEM knowledge through PE activities. Students’ creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills can also be improved. The activities are more feasible to be used as ECA or in PE lessons than in GE lessons.
