Scheduling courses for the 2025-2026 school year begins in January 2025:

Students will meet with their counselors one-on-one beginning mid-January 2025.
Teachers enter course recommendations for students in mid to late December 2024. Please follow up with your child’s teachers if you have any questions regarding recommendations.
FRHSD is an open-access district; a student can self-select into the honors level of a course.
Academic Course Recommendations for incoming 9th graders/current 8th graders are based on 7th grade final grades and 8th grade marking period 1 grades. Honors placement is based on grade criteria observed in historical performance data indicative of success in FRHSD honors courses. If you have any questions or concerns regarding student course recommendations or placement, please reach out to the CNHS School Counseling Office at 732-761-0190, ext. 1029 or 1030. You will be directed to a school counselor who will address your concerns and questions.

Course recommendation and registration information for rising grade 9 students can be found within the Genesis Parent Portal.
The Freehold Regional High School District utilizes the Genesis Parent Portal for course registration. This online system allows you to review course recommendations and finalize your child's schedule.
