Cubs in the Middle

Things have been happening in the 7th and 8th grades this year. For one, the field day teams HAVE been chosen and there are many things they will be doing. To start us off, there are 10 teams, each led by a middle level teacher or counselor. Some adults have teamed up to co-lead a team. The team leaders are as follows: Mrs. Butzer, Miss Dallas, Mr. Gray, Mrs. Mole, Mrs. Nelson and Mrs. L. Swanson, Mr. Skelton, Mrs. Stewart and Mrs. Pinciaro, Mrs. Spielman and Miss. Berns, Mrs. J. Swanson, Mrs. Yost, and Mrs. Ingrao. Throughout the year, the 10 teams will work together on different activities until the field day competition in June. During the field day, the teams will compete in multiple activities to earn points for their team. Also during the field day, there will be a picnic, and for the rest of the day, everyone will enjoy the outdoors. The team who has the most points at the end of the day will become the winner! I am sure that everyone (at least almost everyone, hopefully) will have a great time and likely have fun even if their team doesn’t win. Maybe even some people will make new friends while in the teams.
