The Frewsburg Bear Players is Gearing up for Their Annual Production:  "Something Rotten!" 

The Frewsburg Bear Players are proud to present their 2025 musical production, Something Rotten! To see it, or not to see it? That is no question! Shows are Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m., Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m., and April 5 at 2 p.m.

This fun, funny, irreverent show is set in the 1590s and tells the story of two brothers trying to write a hit play in the larger-than-life shadow of the greatest rock star of his time—William Shakespeare. When the soothsayer, Nostradamus, predicts that the next big thing in theatre will be… the MUSICAL… the brothers use this information to try to overtake The Bard.

Frewsburg’s Something Rotten features Taran Laska as Nick Bottom, Braeden Signorino as Nigel Bottom, Elayna Pitts as Bea, Adam Spak as Nostradamus, Lilja Holland as Portia, Mathias Sanfilippo as Brother Jeremiah, and Tristan Kelsey as Shakespeare, accompanied by a singing, dancing theatre troupe.
