Welcome to seventh grade English Language Arts! This is a year-long course designed to reinforce and improve the fundamentals of reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, and more. 

All projects and assessments are directly aligned with the Common Core teaching standards.  At FMS, students are given high academic expectations. Students should give 100% effort on all in-class and online assignments, homework, assessments, and projects. 

In each class, students are expected to participate in daily activities, complete all assigned work, and respect their peers. Students are always encouraged to ask questions and help others. We will make accommodations when necessary or required.
