6th Grade Orchestra
Dear Parents and students,
It is SO good to be able to see you everyday and I look forward to performing with you! We will see great improvements in a short time. Please remember if you are in another performing group like band or choir, you need to practice both to be successful. The concert schedule will be given in class and added to this site in the near future. I look forward to a musically rewarding year with you!

Parents these videos will help you understand the work we are doing this week, both in the classroom and online. These videos should be viewed multiple times for the maximum retention. Your student should understand quarter, half, and eighth note rhythms. Violins and violas should be using 4th finger A, instead of open A. These skills are building blocks of higher string playing. Thank you!
