Welcome to Mrs. Curran's School Counseling Page

My official title at Fremont Ross High School is Mental Health School Counselor which is sometimes intimidating and confusing. What that really means is that I'm the counselor in the building who's time is delegated to focusing on the social/emotional development of student wellness in regards to the three domains of school counseling. I work with students individually and in group settings to provide social/emotional support related to the needs of the student. I also help identify students who may benefit from community counseling supports and help to connect their families to the appropriate resources. Additionally, I try to help bridge the gap between school counseling and community counseling by assisting students in taking what they are learning from their community counselor and translating it into the school setting. 

I believe every student deserves to feel safe and connected to at least one adult in our building, and I feel very fortunate to be a part of the school counseling team at Ross that is committed to making that a reality. I support students in finding their voice, making educated decisions, and becoming the best version of themselves.
