My name is Jessica Chalfin and I have worked for Fremont City Schools since 2016. I currently work with students in Mrs. Zellner’s class at Atkinson Elementary, Ms. Benavidez's class at Atkinson Elementary, and preschool students at GLCAP Stricker Family Development Center. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University in 2013, and my Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology from The Ohio State University in 2015. I am certified clinically competent by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).

I became an SLP because I believe everyone deserves a voice and access to effective communication skills. I love working with preschool students to help them effectively communicate with adults and peers in their educational setting.

Here are some fun facts about me! I live at home with my cat named Lucy. I love all things Disney and am currently planning my next trip to Disney World. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and being outdoors.
