We have had a great beginning to our school year. Students are learning the routines and expectations of being successful 5th graders.
Students NEED a water bottle at school everyday.
Students are welcome to bring a daily snack to school as well. We have occassional snacks of fresh fruits and vegatables from the kitchen. We have had some parents who have provided some class snacks but we are not able to provide a snack, to every student, every day. Please have them bring a healthy snack for this time.

This is my 16th year of teaching. I teach math, science, and social studies at Rendezvous. Every year, I turn math haters into math lovers! In my personal life, I like hiking, camping, hunting, traveling, coffee, dark chocolate, and cooking. My husband and I raised 2 sons, but we are now empty nesters.

This is my 18th year teaching. My 6th year of calling Rendezvous my school. I am a mom of 3 kids that attend Riverton schools. We are active in schools, sports, dance, pow wows and community events. I love getting to help students find a love for reading and writing that will help them continue to be amazing people who make our world a better place.

I am in my 11th year of teaching, 6th year at Rendezvous. I have 3 children a preschooler, a 3rd grader, and a middle schooler. My family loves to camp, fish, play board games and are active in Riverton's local 1838 Mountain Man Rendezvous. You may see us participating in a variety of events in the community. As a teacher I know that all students can achieve at a high level and focus on teaching and creating supports that help all students reach high levels of success.

This is my first year at Rendezvous Elementary, as I am assisting in the co-taught classroom in 5th grade. I enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, and racing dirt bikes with my family. You can typically find me at the motocross track, the soccer field, or in a gym full of wrestlers. I am excited to get to know the students and build connections with them throughout the school year.
We will have 4 different units in reading. They are Fantasy, Native American history, Civil War, and Breaking Barriers in Society. In writing students will be working on become proficient essay writes of informational and opinion writing.
With every math unit, I will send home a new "Apply" book. Students are encouraged to review the learn pages at home, complete the page with the pencil in the corner, and return that page to Mrs. Shroyer for a reward.
Science and social studies is a great time for experiments and creative group activities. We will work hard to complete our "must do" activities, so we can do some fun "may do" activities!
Our focus is on Working Hard, Loving to Learn, Caring for Others and Ourselves as students are respectful, responsible, and safe. We help students learn how to be hard working, mature learners that can make choices that help them and others be successful in academics and life.
