Rendezvous Elementary’s music, art, PE, and media teachers weave their practices into the fabric of the community, getting to know each student while enriching the school culture.

We specialists (or "specials" teachers) teach every child in the school.  We build familiarity with each student, and with his or her siblings and family. We get to enjoy watching a student grow and mature over time. And, we have the ability to interact and collaborate with every teacher and every grade level, giving us insight into how individuals and the entire school work together.

Best of all we are professionals at recognizing and developing unique strengths, outside typical academic skills.

See our bios for more about us, and feel free to send us an email with any questions!

Teacher Bios

Ms. Moor

Hello to all our Rattler students and families!
My name is Brenda Moor, and I am in my fifth year of teaching art at Rendezvous. In the past, I have also taught secondary art; K-12 music, including band and choir; and high school history, all among various districts in and outside of Wyoming. Overseas, I have taught conversational English in Japan.
I like living in Wyoming with its abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery.  At Rendezvous, I enjoy seeing so many good artists!  Keep up the good work, Rattlers!
Parents and guardians, please feel free to contact me at school with any questions or concerns.
I look forward to some AWESOME artwork among all my fourth and fifth graders throughout the year!

Ms. Snider

Hi Rendezvous Rattlers and families!

My name is Andrea Snider and this is my fourth school year here at Rendezvous. I have been working for the district since the 2020 school year and this is my second year being full time in the library! Outside of school, my own children keep me pretty busy. My son, Ryon, is 17 and is now a senior is high school. Emma is my 13 year old daughter and she is an 8th grader this year. I do love to read, so I try to whenever and as often as I can. I'm very excited to be able to share this time with our 4th and 5th graders and help grow our Rattler readers!

As always, if parents, guardians, or students have any questions, please reach out!

Mrs. Phillips

Hello Rattler students and Families!

This is my first year at Rendezvous as a Paraprofessional. This is also my first year teaching computers, and I am excited to have this opportunity.

My husband and I have grown up in this area. We have three kids, two boys and one daughter. We love being outdoors any moment we can. We love fishing, camping, kayaking, etc. I have always loved working with kids. I am loving getting to know these kids and watching them grow every time they learn something new. Most important is that I am so glad to be there with them achieving their goals, and growing as a person. Not only are they learning but they are also helping me learn and grow as a person as well.

Music

Tuneful - Beatful - Artful music making happens every day.

Tuneful music is matching pitch with good voice quality.  We use solfege and letter names to identify pitch.

Beatful  is being able to keep a beat and develop rhythm skills.  We use syllable names to identify rhythms (ie. tikatika)

Artful is the appreciation of music that is developed and can be used for a lifetime.  Students are expected to participate in music class to the best of their ability.
