Malala Yousafzai

Malala became an international symbol for the fight for girls' education after she was shot in 2012 for opposing the Taliban's restrictions on education for women in Pakistan.  She and her father co-founded the Malala Fund to bring awareness to advocate for girls' rights to education around the world.  She is the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
