It includes both physical abuse, such as beating or neglecting animals, as well as psychological abuse, such as confinement or using animals for entertainment purposes without proper care. Animal abuse is considered unethical and is often illegal in many jurisdictions.

Images of animals in cages are allowed as long as they are for logical reasons. We only accept images where animals are not seen in bad conditions, such as suffering, having injuries, showing signs of mistreatment, or being kept in small or neglected cages.
