FES celebrated World Read Aloud Day on February 1, 2019. Every K-3 class participated and we were able to talk with authors through Skype. We Skyped with the following authors: Miranda Paul, Laya Steinberg, Tricia Springstubb, Rebecca Gomez, Stef Wade and Rebecca Rupp. This was a very exciting and inspiring experience for the students at FES! Each author shared their books with the students. We learned about the authors we spoke with and they answered questions students asked regarding how a book is made, how someone can become an author, and why someone may choose to become an author.
