I'm a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant and an Assistive Technology Specialist who holds a Master of Science Degree in Education, Assistive Technology, from Simmons University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Disorders, from Worcester State University. I hold a Certificate in Communication Assistive Technology Applications from the Research Institute for Assistive and Training Technologies sponsored by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education. I'm a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the state of Massachusetts and I hold a Massachusetts Educator license in Instructional Technology from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. I am nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.

I have been providing Related Services in the area of Speech and Language through the French River Education Center, Inc. since 1996. When working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, I work under the direction of a supervising Speech Language Pathologist.

I have worked in the field of Assistive Technology since 2002. As an Assistive Technology Specialist, I administer informal Assistive Technology assessments to students providing professional technology recommendations along with recommendations for student accommodations due to a disability. I participate in Team consultations with Educational Teams, and I provide direct training for staff, students, and families. In addition, I conduct Professional Development for educational staff throughout Central Massachusetts to small groups or school wide professional development sessions.

In my spare time, I work as a Professional Genealogist researching family history and am the sole proprietor of Professional Genealogy Research Services of New England.
