We have adopted a brand new ELA curriculum for the 2026-2027, which is Magnetic Literacy. This curriculum also supports iReady instruction.
This is a knowledge based thematic unit curriculum embedding science and social studies. We will study the following units this year:

Unit 2: Storytellers
How do stories shape our lives?
Unit 3: Art & The Great Depression
How does art reflect and shape our understanding of the world?
Unit 4: Free as a Bird
How do symbols communicate meaning?

What type of evidence would it take to convince you something is real?
Unit 6: Fire & Ash
How do powerful natural forces impact people and their environment?
