We're undergoing a massive reorganization of our library in order to make it more user-friendly and have a more intuitive flow. We have moved all the fiction books from one side of the stacks to other side and are in the process of "Genrefying" the library - organizing the fiction section by genres.
Follow our progress below:
Move fiction off shelves
Shift all non-fiction down to aisles 6-10
Place fiction on aisles 1-5
Put the following sections on aisle 5
Sports
Organize by sport and put up signage
Short stories
Plays
Children’s Literature
Classics
Poetry and novels in verse
Put out new books by genre
Place the following in genres:
Science fiction (aisle 4)
Romance (aisle 4) - Current project
Mystery/Suspense/Action (aisle 3)
Horror (aisle 3)
Historical fiction (aisle 2)
Fantasy (aisle 2)
Realistic fiction (aisle 1) <-- Current project
