The Franklin City School Board, administration, and staff believe the purpose of education is to facilitate the development of the potential of each student. Therefore, it is our goal to focus on the intellectual, academic, and creative aspects of learning for every student. To aid in their learning and growth, gifted students at FCS will be involved in critical thinking, Bloom’s higher-level activities, and creative problem-solving. Within their regular classroom, FCS gifted students are provided with differentiated content/process/product and other enrichment activities based on their ability and needs. The goal of this site is to support FCS staff and administration with the implementation of board policy and with individualized learning design for gifted students across Franklin City Schools.
