Kentucky's No Pass/No Drive law applies to students ages 15–17. Students must meet school attendance and academic requirements to receive and maintain driving privileges.

The school will issue a School Compliance Verification Form if the student is eligible based on State Law Requirements (see requirements below). This form must be taken with your student when they take their driver's permit test. The form requires the stamp from an embossed seal (with raised characters) to be accepted by local court clerks.
Students MUST fill out the google form linked below to request a School Compliance Verification Form. If eligible, Ms. Chambers will complete the form and let the student know when it is ready to be picked up. Because the form is only valid for a certain number of days, we ask that your student have an appointment scheduled before requesting a School Compliance Verification Form.

Students cannot have more than 8 unexcused absences in the previous semester
Any absences due to suspension are unexecused absences
Once a student hits 9 or more unexecused absences, they are not eligible to take their permit test.
Academic Requirement:

Students must have passed 5 out the 7 in seat classes from the previous semester
Please note we look at semester grades (NOT FINAL GRADES)

Students MUST be in compliance with the law based on academic and attendance data from the previous semester of the school year.
If deemed non compliant, the student's current driver's license or learner's permit is suspended by the KY Department of Transportation.
A student is considered non compliant when he/she has nine (9) or more unexcused absences in the previous semester or has not received passing semester grades in at least 5 in seat courses from the previous semester.
