Goal: Give students an authentic learning experience that helps them develop essential knowledge and skills in a field of interest while working on a project that will benefit their community (e.g., the What's so cool about manufacturing?)

Time Commitment: A few weeks to an entire semester

Format: Virtual or in-person

Preparation: Identifying an organizational or community problem that students can help address and ongoing planning and coordination with school personnel

Frequency: 1-2 times per school year
