Career pathways
The Career Center, in collaboration with the FHS School Counseling Department, was involved in mapping FHS elective course offerings to the 16 national Career Clusters and learning opportunities within and beyond the walls of Farmington High School.
The resulting document that is linked on the right is intended as a resource to help students explore courses related to their areas of interest and potential career goals and aspirations. Included in this document is a description of each Career Cluster, possible college majors, example careers, recommended elective offerings, clubs & activities, connections to the Farmington community, and valuable school contacts designed to enhance our student experiences both in and outside of the classroom.

Equity, community, and Inclusion
The Career Center is committed to advancing equity, community, and inclusion at Farmington High School. We recognize that students come to school with diverse lived experiences, interests, identities, and talents. We respond to this diversity in students' backgrounds and interests by engaging with the community to expand the learning opportunities that are available to students. In this way, the Career Center supports flexible pathways by increasing access to personally meaningful learning opportunities for students. The Career Center understands that there is not a single pathway to career fulfillment and therefore provides opportunities in a diverse range of career fields.
