ACT has informed Franklin Parish High School they have discovered a need to reissue scores for students who took the online test this spring during school-day testing.
Students who took the ACT online during the school day this spring will lose access to their scores on Wednesday, May 13. ACT indicates that:
Scores will be available again to students no later than June 2.
Composite scores and section scores will remain the same OR go up slightly based on your individual performance. Your scores will NOT be lower than what was previously released.
ACT will send revised scores to you and your parent or guardian, your school and/or district, and any college or scholarship agency you identified as a recipient of your scores.
If you sent scores to colleges or scholarship agencies outside of the ACT score distribution process, you will need to resend those after you have received your revised scores.
This is a reminder to all students, parents/guardians, and faculty that according to Louisiana RS 17:239 students are prohibited from bringing electronic devices to school. If devices are brought to school, they are to be turned off and properly stowed away for the duration of the instructional day or prohibited from being turned on and used during the instructional day.
ACT has created a playlist to equip students with expert advice from admissions professionals. The
video series is perfect for students at any stage of their college journey, and covers writing standout
essays, balancing academics, and finding the right college.

Parent’s Right to Know Letters have been sent out in accordance with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). If you have a student who has been taught for 4 consecutive weeks or longer by a teacher who does not currently hold certification or licensure in the subject area and/or grade level in which they are teaching. If this applies to your student, you will receive a letter sent home with your student today if they are present.
Rest assured that we are working hard with these teachers to not only acquire the certifications and/or licenses they may be missing, but also to ensure that the quality of instruction your child receives remains high. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call the school at (318) 435-5676.
