Director's Note

Before we begin, I would like to express a sincere gratitude to the past directors of Sekolah Makmal, who have tirelessly schemed up numerous plans and sketches of ideas to ensure the dream of having our own school a reality, despite the many challenges faced. This project began in 2012 as a dream to have a school of our own, to be the platform for innovative and transformative educational projects, and to be a medium where UPSI can flourish as an exemplar project in educational practices in this region. Along the way, challenges upon challenges materialised, up to a point where it seemed that odds were stacking up against our favour. On August 2019, the baton has been passed to me, to carry this project forward, and I do intend to see this project through. InsyaAllah. With your support, we can prove that UPSI has the capacity to be greater.

This initiative would not be possible without these respectable academics who have defied the conventional, pushing forward the same dream. We are in this together.
