General Information about the Program
Pacific Cares is a program that consists of a series of events campaigns that take place at their properties. They partner with their PMCs to help deliver positive resident events that help foster a sense of community and help raise funds, donated goods, or awareness for spectacular local and national charities. These events are to occur once per quarter, with information and marketing materials provided, as well as a survey link at the end of the event period to track donations, photos, and the efforts made by our management teams.
The Pacific Cares program is a required event participation for all PUI properties. If you're having staffing or amenity space issues, please let your DMM know so we can brainstorm potential solutions that work better for your situation. Asset managers are not permitted to approve skipping these events, per PUI leadership.
If you have any questions about a specific campaign or the entire Pacific Cares Program, do not hesitate to reach out to your DMM.

Q4 2024 - Flapjacks & Flannels Campaign
I'm excited to share the information for the December Pacific Cares event, directly from PUI marketing. Similar to last year, this will be a Flannel & Flapjacks event and toy drive for Toys for Tots!
These are the items needed from CDs and your teams:
Email your residents about the event (verbiage provided -will need to change dates/times if customizing)
Post color-printed event flyers at the property (only the attached flyer should be used, so please let me know if you need a different date and/or time)
Register your drive with their local chapter (If this is not an option due to cut-off dates, you can drop off the collections at any Toys for Tots collection site)
Setup a collection bin in the leasing office, which you can either pick up from their local chapter or wrap a large cardboard box in one of the approved wrapping papers below
Order a flapjack (pancakes) featured brunch from a restaurant of your choice.
Order all items needed for the gift wrapping station (wrapping paper, gift tags, tap, etc.) The design team has approved the following wrapping paper for this event.
Hold an awesome event for your residents!
