The house was built in 1837. It is called Huntland farm. It has stables, dog kennels and 4 cottages on 550 acres. Joseph Thomas was the person who most changed the property. He made it into a large colonial house. He designed the stables and kennels in 1912-13. There is a large barn that has been in use for more than 180 years.
It talks about james monroe living there but I'm scared it is not true. They also say it is a retreat for Lyndon Johnson. its true.
